If you're going to install Docker Desktop for Windows, I recommend that you learn not only how to enable WSL2, but also install a different Linux distro. The default WSL distro sucks, and I ran into a lot of problems running Docker containers that have worked flawlessly once I installed the latest Ubuntu and made that the Linux kernel for WSL. Windows' version has some strange filesystem mounting issues that gave me headaches for weeks.
